SAFE KIDS

We are so grateful for all the ways that our volunteers invest in our kids week to week. Our first priority in our kids ministry is safety. Because of that, we ask our volunteers to go through a series of screenings prior to serving with our kids. We ask that before you serve you:

• Attend the 8th Street Church for at least 6 months.

• Be involved in a parish group.

• Fill out an application that includes a criminal background check and 3 non-familial references.

• Complete an interview with a pastor or lead volunteer.

• Complete a Sexual Abuse Awareness training.
